Can Tho - The working delegation of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front highly appreciated the important contributions of the Khmer Southern Buddhist Academy over the years.

On the afternoon of April 12, a working delegation led by Mr. Tran Thang - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front (FFC) and central organizations visited and wished the traditional New Year of Chol Cham Thmay at the Khmer Southern Buddhist Academy in O Mon District, Can Tho City.

In a solemn and warm atmosphere, Mr. Tran Thang, on behalf of the working group, sent his best wishes to all monks, cadres, lecturers, and students of the Khmer Southern Buddhist Academy and the Khmer people on the occasion of the traditional Lunar New Year of Chol Chanh Thmay.

"On behalf of the Central Working Group of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, I respectfully wish the Academy and the Khmer people good health, welcoming the traditional New Year in a cozy atmosphere with many new joys; together with the country entering a new era to build Vietnam to become increasingly rich and powerful", said Mr. Tran Thang.

At the meeting, Mr. Tran Thang informed that the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front acknowledged and highly appreciated the important contributions of the Khmer Southern Buddhist Academy over the years.

Accordingly, in addition to completing the training tasks excellently, the Academy also actively participates in activities contributing to the socio-economic development of Can Tho city. In particular, Mr. Tran Thang emphasized the great role of the Academy in consolidating and strengthening the great national unity bloc.

On the occasion of the traditional Lunar New Year, the working group showed their deep concern for the community by giving meaningful gifts.

At the same time, the delegation presented 50 gifts to policy households and poor households of the Khmer ethnic group in the area, demonstrating the sharing and mutual love of the Party and State.

The visit and wish the traditional Tet holiday of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Mission showed a deep concern for the cultural and spiritual life of the Khmer ethnic people, and affirmed the important contribution of the Khmer Buddhist Academy in the cause of national construction and development. This event contributes to further strengthening the solidarity between the peoples, together towards a bright and prosperous future.
