On March 8, Inspection Team No. 1923 of the Politburo and the Secretariat led by Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh had a working session with the Standing Committee of the Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee.
The working session aims to inspect the leadership, direction and implementation results of 4 contents including: Directive No. 35-CT/TW dated June 14, 2024 and Conclusion No. 118-KL/TW dated January 18, 2025 of the Politburo; Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW and Conclusion No. 121-KL/TW dated January 24, 2025 of the Central Executive Committee; Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 of the Politburo; Conclusion No. 123-KL/TW dated January 24, 2025 of the Central Executive Committee on the Supplementary Project on socio-economic development in 2025 with a growth target of 8% or more.
At the working session with the inspection team, Mr. Dang Hong Sy - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee reported briefly the main contents as requested by the inspection team. At the same time, it recommended to the inspection team some remaining issues and difficulties that the province is facing, such as the proposal to use two-phase land use for Phan Thiet airport; reviewing the basis for determining the titanium mineral reserve area in Binh Thuan for suitability; removing obstacles and difficulties for renewable energy projects; having a special mechanism to allow Binh Thuan to soon pilot 2 offshore wind power projects; difficulties in hiring a consulting unit to determine land prices...
Recognizing the efforts, attempts, and positive results achieved by Party committees and authorities at all levels of Binh Thuan province in disseminating, thoroughly grasping, concretizing, and implementing the Resolutions, Directives, and Conclusions of the Party in recent times, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh stated that Binh Thuan needs to regularly update new situations, new requirements, and new tasks according to the direction of the Central Government in implementing local tasks.

In particular, in drafting documents to submit to the Provincial Party Congress for the next term, it is necessary to point out the potential and strengths for development in the coming time.
In promoting economic development, it is necessary to clearly identify growth drivers to further promote the potential, advantages and strengths of the locality. We must renew old growth drivers, such as agriculture, industry, tourism, services, ... along with that, we must seek and promote new growth drivers, such as digital transformation, semiconductor chips, AI artificial intelligence, renewable energy, high-end services, etc.
At the same time, it is necessary to focus on removing, resolving, and completely handling 36 remaining projects in the locality, especially energy projects; promptly putting these projects and resources into service for socio-economic development tasks, not allowing loss or waste of assets.
To grow, Binh Thuan province needs to increase public investment disbursement; Promote decentralization methods, select national key projects, and cross-connecting transport infrastructure in the province.
Innovating the Party's leadership methods, improving leadership capacity, building a clean and strong Party. The Party's decisions must practically support the government, close to the reality and life of the people. Streamlining the apparatus is associated with improving the quality of cadres, promoting decentralization, all tasks must be close to the breath of life.
