On the morning of November 29, in Hanoi, the National Assembly Standing Committee held the 1st Patriotic Emulation Congress.
Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man attended and launched a patriotic emulation movement for the 2025-2030 period.
National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man emphasized that this is the first time the National Assembly Standing Committee has organized the Patriotic Emulation Congress, marking a new step in the emulation, reward, and arousing the spirit of dedication and innovation of National Assembly deputies, cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in the agencies of the National Assembly.
Stating the development goals for the 2025-2030 period, especially the double-digit growth target, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man requested the National Assembly to continue to innovate, improve the quality of legislation, supervise and decide on important issues, and at the same time launch an emulation movement with focuses.
Firstly, compete to effectively implement the National Assembly's innovation activities in perfecting institutions, building a synchronous, modern, and internationally integrated legal system; improve the quality of supervision and decision-making on important issues of the country.
In the immediate future, it is necessary to actively prepare to complete the 10th Session of the 15th National Assembly, successfully organize the election of 16th National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term, organize activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the first General Election to elect the National Assembly of Vietnam...
Second, compete to promote the role and responsibility of National Assembly deputies, be ready to contribute, dare to think, dare to do, dare to innovate, dare to take responsibility, put the common interest above all and truly be a loyal representative of the will and aspirations of the People.
Third, compete to effectively implement the comprehensive digital transformation policy in the activities of the National Assembly. Build a digital parliament, compete in self-study, self-education, improve skills, and replicate the digital education movement.
At the same time, innovate the mechanism for selection, selection, and appointment to attract people with truly outstanding abilities to work at the agencies of the National Assembly and the National Assembly Office.
The National Assembly Chairman suggested that the Emulation and Reward Council of the National Assembly Standing Committee continue to innovate reward work, ensuring publicity, transparency, timeliness, accuracy, truly encouragement, spreading good people, good deeds, and typical advanced examples.
The Delegation Work Committee, the standing agency of the National Assembly's Emulation and Reward Council, proactively advises, guides, urges and inspects the organization of patriotic emulation movements in the entire system of the National Assembly agency.
The National Assembly Chairman hopes that the agencies of the National Assembly, National Assembly deputies, and all cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers will actively respond and participate in the patriotic emulation movement, promote the spirit of solidarity, discipline, set an example, and act effectively.
Affirming that emulation is an important, regular, and continuous task of all levels, sectors, and agencies and units, the National Assembly Chairman believes that the emulation, reward work, and patriotic emulation movement of the National Assembly in the coming time will certainly have many new successes.
