On December 9, the People's Council of Dong Thap province held its 6th session to consider issuing resolutions under the authority of the Provincial People's Council. At the session, delegates listened to the submissions accompanying the draft resolution, discussed and voted unanimously to approve 10 resolutions.
Speaking at the meeting, Ms. Chau Thi My Phuong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairwoman of the People's Council of Dong Thap province - said that in 2025, in addition to advantages, the world and domestic context will continue to have many unpredictable fluctuations. The international economy is still recovering slowly, natural disasters and unpredictable climate change have directly affected agricultural production as well as people's lives. The production process and the restructuring of administrative units as well as the organization of local governments at both levels have been implemented synchronously, but there are still certain difficulties and problems.


However, with great determination and great efforts of the entire political system, business community and people in the province, under the comprehensive, strict and in-depth leadership of the Provincial Party Committee, sectors, levels and localities have also closely followed the policies and practical situations, focused on directing, implementing drastically, flexibly and effectively tasks and solutions in all fields. Thereby, the province's socio-economic situation in 2025 achieved many positive results, many targets were achieved and exceeded the annual plan.
