As reported by Lao Dong, after collecting opinions and receiving high consensus and agreement from the people, the Project to reorganize Bac Ninh and Bac Giang provinces to establish Bac Ninh province was submitted to the Government on April 28, before the prescribed time.
According to the Project, the two provinces of Bac Ninh - Bac Giang will merge and have a new name, Bac Ninh province, the administrative center will be located in the current Bac Giang city. The new Bac Ninh province will have a total of 99 communes and wards; population of 3,619,433 people.
The project also clearly states the organizational structure of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) of the new Bac Ninh province after the merger.
Accordingly, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ninh province (new) was established on the basis of merging the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Ninh province and the Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Giang province.
The organizational structure of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee includes: Office; Committee for Democracy, Supervision and Social Criticism; Organization - Inspection Committee.
At the same time, establish committees on the basis of merging the socio-political organizations of the two provinces before the arrangement.
Accordingly, receiving the status quo of the apparatus, the organization of the Labor Federation, Farmers' Association, Women's Union, Provincial Youth Union, Veterans Association and agencies assigned by the State and public service units under the agencies after the arrangement, including:
Establish 2 committees: Trade Union Working Committee and Industrial Park Trade Union Committee on the basis of merging the Bac Ninh Provincial Labor Federation and the Bac Giang Provincial Labor Federation.
Establish the Farmers' Committee of Bac Ninh province on the basis of merging the Farmers' Association of Bac Ninh province and the Farmers' Association of Bac Giang province.
Establish the Children's Working Committee on the basis of merging the Bac Ninh Youth Union and the Bac Giang Youth Union.
Establish the Women's Working Committee on the basis of merging the Women's Union of Bac Ninh province and the Women's Union of Bac Giang province.
Establish the Veterans Working Committee on the basis of merging the Veterans Association of Bac Ninh province and the Veterans Association of Bac Giang province.
Establish the Mass Association Working Committee (or the Propaganda and Social Mobilization Committee) on the basis of merging the Mass Associations assigned by the Party and the State for the tasks of Bac Ninh and Bac Giang provinces.
In terms of functions and tasks: perform the functions and tasks of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, the Labor Union, the Farmers' Union, the Women's Union, the Youth Union, Veterans Association and agencies assigned by the State to the two provinces before arranging.
Regarding the number of positions: 312 civil servants, public employees, and 44 employees are assigned; there are currently 300 civil servants, public employees, and 33 employees.
Regarding headquarters: located in Bac Giang city, the old Bac Giang province.
