Removing obstacles for 2 BT projects worth nearly VND2,000 billion in Thai Nguyen

The Deputy Prime Minister has issued instructions to remove obstacles for 2 construction projects under BT contracts in Thai Nguyen province.

On April 4, the Government Office announced that it had just issued Notice No. 152/TB-VPCP on the conclusion of Central Party Committee member and Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha at a meeting on removing obstacles and difficulties for 2 construction investment projects under the form of public-private partnership (BT contract) in Thai Nguyen province.

The Deputy Prime Minister agreed to allow the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province to use the land fund that has been cleared to pay investors for 2 construction investment projects under the form of public-private partnership (BT contract) in Thai Nguyen province, including:

Bac Son road construction investment project lasts from km0+00 - km3+350; Bac Son road construction project extends from km 3+500 - Km 9+500) under the BT contract signed as proposed by the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen Province.

The Deputy Prime Minister assigned the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province to take full responsibility for the implementation of projects, completing the payment of land funds to investors before April 30, 2025, ensuring compliance with the provisions of the law on PPP investment, land law and relevant laws, preventing negativity, waste and loss of state assets.

It is known that the BT project to invest in the construction of Bac Son road extending the section from Km0+00 to Km3+500 (intersection of To Huu road) has a total investment of VND 1,004.99 billion; the land use scale is about 23 hectares, with a total length of 3.5 km designed according to the standards of a level II urban main street.

This project has a form of payment in the form of land fund that has been cleared and complete infrastructure investment.

By the end of March 2025, the project has completed all roads, high-speed overpasses, railway overpasses, drainage systems and exploited and opened to traffic since October 2020, meeting the travel needs of the people.

The remaining volume that has not been invested in construction is auxiliary items such as: green trees, lighting, water supply systems, fire prevention and fighting and some locations with land clearance problems...

The BT project to invest in the construction of Bac Son road extends the section Km3+500 (To Huu intersection) to Km9+500 with a total investment of 991.857 billion VND; land use scale is about 42.63ha.

The project has a total length of 6 km, designed according to the standards of a level II urban main street, the winning investor is a private construction enterprise Xuan Truong (Ninh Binh).

The payment method of the project is by land fund that has been cleared and complete infrastructure investment.
