Over the past years, under the direct leadership and direction of the Hanoi Party Committee, the mass mobilization work of the entire political system from the city to the grassroots has achieved positive results, strongly oriented towards the grassroots; enhancing the responsibility and exemplary role of cadres and party members, especially of leaders before the people.
Mass mobilization in solving difficult and complicated tasks
“A living example is worth more than a hundred propaganda speeches.” Taking President Ho Chi Minh’s teachings to heart, through skillful mass mobilization models, the working methods and styles of cadres, party members, civil servants and public employees of Hanoi City have changed positively.
Over the past years, the Hanoi Party Committee has always focused on leading and directing innovation in the content and methods of mass mobilization work; promoting the role and mastery of the people and the strength of the great national unity bloc, concretizing the motto "People know, people discuss, people do, people inspect, people supervise and people benefit".
Through mass mobilization work, many projects that have been pending for decades due to lack of consensus from the people have completed site clearance, implemented procedures and started construction of works to serve the interests of the community.
A typical example is the propaganda campaign in the implementation of the project to renovate and embellish the Supreme People's Court headquarters at 48-48A Ly Thuong Kiet Street (phase 2). In this project, 30/38 households agreed to receive compensation and support, only 8 households did not agree.
To ensure the land for the project, and at the same time harmoniously resolve the interests of the people, along with recommending the city to allow the application of the most beneficial compensation plan for households, the Party committees and authorities of Hoan Kiem district have actively propagated, mobilized, persuaded, and explained...
As a result, the site clearance process was carried out in accordance with procedures, ensuring security and order in the area.
Or in 2024, in Tay Ho district, there are 40 soldiers who have been discharged from the army. Through screening, there is Tran Bui Khac Hieu (Yen Phu ward), a youth volunteer who joined the army in 2022, currently living with his mother, his father passed away in 2006, the family's economy is still facing many difficulties.
Before joining the army, Hieu worked as a motorbike taxi driver to earn extra income to help his mother. After being discharged from the army, his motorbike broke down and his family could not afford another one, so Hieu's family's life was very difficult.
Understanding the thoughts, aspirations and circumstances of the family of retired soldier Tran Bui Khac Hieu, the District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee and the Tay Ho District Military Command mobilized resources and called for more participation from the District Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the district's socio-political organizations.
At the gift giving program to implement the model of "Warm military-civilian solidarity", the District Military Command presented a Honda Wave motorbike worth 25 million VND to Tran Bui Khac Hieu.
The District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee and Tay Ho District's organizations each presented a gift worth about 3 million VND to Hieu's family. The Yen Phu Ward Military Command also supported Hieu's family to repaint their house. The total value of the gifts from the units in the program was 40 million VND.

Mr. Dang Quang Thang - Secretary of the Party Cell of Residential Group No. 10, My Dinh 1 Ward, Nam Tu Liem District - shared about the renovation model of "Dream Road" at lane 129 Thien Hien. This model is a typical example of the strength of solidarity and self-management in the residential community.
The area is characterized by degraded infrastructure after the transition from district to county, especially flooded roads, many potholes and lack of lighting.
Realizing this situation, the Party Committee and the residential group boldly issued a Resolution on using local resources to renovate the road. With the enthusiastic support of the people, within just one week, the residential group mobilized enough resources to implement the project.
What is more surprising is that in just 2 days, people together raised the road surface by 15cm, renovated the sidewalks, drainage system and clean water supply system. Not only stopping at improving the infrastructure, each family also voluntarily decorated with flower baskets and hung flags, creating a green, clean and beautiful living space.
“The "Dream Road" model not only solves infrastructure problems but also strengthens community solidarity, raises people's sense of self-management and responsibility for their living environment.
The success of the project has created strong trust among the people in the leadership of the Party cell and residential group, contributing to building a civilized, modern and livable residential community" - Mr. Thang said.
In 2024, the entire Nam Tu Liem district has registered to implement more than 600 skillful mass mobilization models in 4 areas: economy, culture - society, national defense - security and political system building.
This result has contributed to promoting the district's political tasks, with state budget revenue in the area reaching 9,200 billion VND, reaching 109% of the assigned estimate in the first 9 months of 2024.
Head of the Nam Tu Liem District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee, Do Khac Dao, emphasized that mass mobilization plays a very important role in the local socio-economic development. As Uncle Ho taught: "Mass mobilization is very important. If mass mobilization is poor, everything will be poor. If mass mobilization is skillful, everything will be successful."
Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Bui Thi Minh Hoai emphasized the need to innovate the work of mobilizing, propagating, praising, and replicating models and typical examples of "skillful mass mobilization" in all areas of social life, especially models in which the majority of people directly participate.
