On the afternoon of November 12, the Hanoi City Party Committee voted to approve the Resolution of the Second Conference of the 18th City Party Committee Executive Committee (term 2025-2030).
Accordingly, the City Party Committee Executive Committee unanimously voted on the following contents on personnel work:
Remove Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Tuan from the position of Chairman of the Hanoi People's Council for the 2021-2026 term due to not meeting the age requirements for re-election.
Introduce to be elected as Chairman of the Hanoi People's Council for the 2021-2026 term for Ms. Phung Thi Hong Ha, Deputy Secretary of the 18th City Party Committee, term XV-2030, Permanent Vice Chairman of the 16th City People's Council, term 2021-2026.
The position of Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term was dismissed for Mr. Tran Sy Thanh because he had been transferred and assigned by the Politburo to hold the position of Chairman of the 13th Central Inspection Committee.
Introduce to elect Mr. Nguyen Duc Trung, Deputy Secretary of the 18th City Party Committee, term 2025-2030 (enighter prescribed by the Central Government) as Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
Voted to prevent Mr. Nguyen Xuan Luu, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, from participating in the Inspection Committee of the City Party Committee and from holding the position of Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the City Party Committee, term XVIII, 2025-2030.
Elected Mr. Do Anh Tuan, member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the City Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee to hold the position of Member, Chairman of the City Party Committee's Inspection Committee, term XVIII, 2025-2030.
Adjust the structure of the Standing Committee of the 18th City Party Committee, term 2025-2030: In the structure of the Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee, there are 3 comrades (increased by 1 comrade according to the approved personnel project); in the structure of the Party secretary of the commune and ward Party Committee, reduced by 1 comrade according to the approved personnel project.
