Pursuant to Decision No. 1544-QD/TU dated October 11, 2024, the Standing Committee of the Hai Phong City Party Committee decided to transfer Mr. Dao Van Ninh, member of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the Duong Kinh District Party Committee, to cease participating in the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, to cease holding the position of Secretary of the Duong Kinh District Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025; transfer, assign, introduce candidates to participate in the City Party Committee Inspection Committee and hold the position of Vice Chairman of the City Party Committee Inspection Committee, term 2020 - 2025.
The Standing Committee of the City Party Committee also decided to transfer, assign and appoint Mr. Phung Van Thanh, Member of the City Party Committee, Head of Urban Affairs, City People's Council to participate in the Executive Committee, Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Duong Kinh District Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025.
Speaking at the conference, Secretary of the City Party Committee Le Tien Chau acknowledged and highly appreciated the results of the District Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and Mr. Dao Van Ninh himself in his position as Secretary of the District Party Committee, together with the leaders of Duong Kinh district, achieved in the recent past.
Regarding Mr. Phung Van Thanh, the Secretary of the City Party Committee assessed him as a cadre who grew up from the grassroots, experienced many working environments and positions, had knowledge and experience in the fields of planning, construction, and urban management; had the capacity to direct, operate, and unite cadres; understood the political system and the grassroots situation. The Secretary of the City Party Committee requested Mr. Phung Van Thanh to constantly strive, together with the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, and the Standing Committee of the Duong Kinh District Party Committee to promote the tradition of solidarity, cohesion, proactiveness, and creativity in performing tasks with a spirit of determination and innovation, for the development of Duong Kinh District in particular and the city in general.
