On January 7, according to information from the Office of the Hoa Binh Provincial Party Committee, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee has just issued a directive on organizing the Lunar New Year 2025.

The Directive clearly states that, in order to prepare well the conditions to serve the people to enjoy Spring, welcome the New Year, Lunar New Year 2025 in a healthy, safe, economical manner, and on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the Party's founding,... The Standing Committee of the Hoa Binh Provincial Party Committee requests Party committees at all levels, Party organizations, authorities, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations from the province to the grassroots level to focus on leading and organizing the strict, synchronous, comprehensive and effective implementation of the following key tasks:

Strengthen the great unity of Party committees at all levels, the government, the Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations and the people in the province, promote the tradition of "mutual love and support". Accelerate the implementation of poverty reduction programs, eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses.

Implement well policies for people with meritorious services and social security policies. Pay attention to the material and spiritual life of policy families, workers in industrial parks, poor households, people in difficult circumstances, remote and mountainous areas, people affected by natural disasters, etc. to ensure that every family and every person can enjoy Spring and celebrate Tet according to the motto "no one is left behind".

Localities shall base on practical situations to decide on organizing fireworks displays to welcome the New Year 2025 and the Lunar New Year of At Ty, ensuring savings, safety, and not using the State budget.

Strengthen the work of preventing and combating waste and negativity; do not organize visits and New Year greetings to superiors and leaders at all levels; strictly prohibit giving or presenting New Year gifts to leaders at all levels in any form; leaders at all levels are only allowed to attend pagodas and festivals when assigned; do not participate in superstitious activities; do not use the State budget, means, and public assets against regulations for festival and entertainment activities; do not drive vehicles after consuming alcohol, beer, etc.

Strengthen inspection, promptly prevent negative manifestations and strictly handle organizations and individuals who violate the use of public budget, means and assets for personal activities during Tet and festivals.

Inspect and closely monitor, ensure good food safety and hygiene, environmental sanitation, disease prevention and control; promptly detect and strictly handle all acts of commercial fraud, production and trading of counterfeit and poor quality goods, speculation, hoarding, and pushing up prices of goods abnormally high for illegal profits.

Proactively grasp and accurately forecast the political security situation and social order and safety in the area to promptly lead and direct early, remote, and grassroots resolution and handling to prevent the formation of "hot spots". Strengthen patrolling and control to ensure traffic order and safety; prevent and fight fires and explosions...
