At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Khac Than - Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, former Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, former Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee and Mr. Pham Quang Ngoc - Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial People's Committee, signed a minutes of handover of leadership and direction.
The contents of the handover include tasks and powers according to Article 17 of the Law on Organization of Local Government 2025, the Working Regulations of the Provincial People's Committee, along with major policies and strategies on socio-economic development, planning, public investment, finance - budget, land management, administrative reform, national defense - security and organizational apparatus and staffing of the Provincial People's Committee.
According to the handover minutes, the Provincial People's Committee is currently focusing on implementing many key tasks such as: completing the adjustment of the Hung Yen Provincial Planning 2021-2030, vision 2050; building a provincial-centric administrative area; promoting the establishment of a Free Economic Zone, High-Tech and Innovation Zone; speeding up the progress of key infrastructure projects including the heritage connecting route along the Red River, CT.08 Expressway, Thai Binh - Hung Ha - Pho Hien route, Tan Phuc - Vong Phan road, industrial parks and clusters.
The Provincial People's Committee also synchronously implemented solutions to promote economic growth, striving for GRDP in 2025 to reach 10 - 10.5% and completing 100% of the public investment disbursement plan; developing trade, services, tourism, digital transformation, expanding investment cooperation, developing high-tech agriculture, building model new rural areas, while ensuring security, order and resource management.
In his handover speech, Mr. Nguyen Khac Than respectfully thanked the Provincial People's Committee, departments and branches, and at the same time quickly informed about the province's outstanding results before and after the merger, emphasizing the spirit of determination, innovation, and solidarity in the entire political system to complete the socio-economic development goals in 2025 and the 2025 - 2030 term.
Receiving the handover, Mr. Pham Quang Ngoc affirmed that he will, together with the Provincial People's Committee, inherit and promote valuable achievements and experiences, lead and direct the successful completion of socio-economic development goals and targets.
