Hung Yen - The Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee has just deployed the task of preparing for the election of 16th National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies at all levels for the 2026 - 2031 term.

Accordingly, Hung Yen Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Huu Nghia requested that the introduction of candidates must be public and transparent, associated with the planning of cadres, the results of Party congresses at all levels and the requirement to streamline the apparatus in the two-level local government model.

Candidates must have strong political will, be loyal to the Fatherland and the People, have moral qualities, qualifications, abilities, and health that fully meet legal standards.

The province prioritizes personnel with innovative thinking, daring to think, daring to do, daring to take responsibility, having vision and the ability to participate in policy making for the new development stage.

The structure of delegates is thoroughly grasped in the direction of harmony between sectors, ages, genders, and regions; focusing on full-time delegates, women, young people, intellectuals, workers, farmers, businessmen, artists, and religious dignitaries... With the motto "essential, not majority", the province puts the quality of delegates first.
