On the morning of December 16, in Can Tho City, the Central Propaganda Department held a national conference to review the work of advising Party committees on Party building in politics, ideology, ethics and propaganda fields in 2024; and deploy tasks in 2025.
Mr. Tran Cam Tu - Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat, Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission - attended and delivered a speech at the conference.
Mr. Nguyen Trong Nghia - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda Department and leaders of the Central Propaganda Department chaired the conference.
In 2024, the entire Propaganda sector has been proactive, innovative, creative, focused on advising and assisting the Central Executive Committee, directly and regularly the Politburo, the Central Party Secretariat, and Party committees at all levels to strengthen leadership and effectively direct the implementation of Party building work in politics, ideology, ethics and propaganda fields, achieving outstanding results.
The entire sector has proactively summarized practices, researched theories, developed projects and scientific topics, and submitted new documents to the Politburo and the Secretariat with specific viewpoints, policies and solutions to lead and direct all aspects and fields of Party building in politics, ideology, ethics and propaganda work.
The organization of research, study, dissemination, propaganda and implementation of the Party's resolutions, directives, conclusions and regulations is carried out more seriously, ensuring timeliness, efficiency and quality.
Political education work; grasping and orienting the thoughts and moods of cadres, party members, and public opinion; combating and refuting erroneous and hostile viewpoints; preventing and handling bad and toxic information, especially on cyberspace, has been innovated, more timely and effective. The work of Party building in terms of ethics has been implemented synchronously with more specific and practical actions.
The whole sector has effectively organized the study and follow of Uncle Ho and initially put into practice Regulation No. 144-QD/TW dated May 9, 2024 of the Politburo on revolutionary ethical standards of cadres and party members in the new period. From there, building awareness of self-cultivation, moral training, pioneering spirit, exemplary "self-reflection", "self-correction", upholding the honor and self-respect of cadres and party members, especially leaders, with many creative ways.
Propaganda, press - publishing, and foreign information work continues to innovate in content and methods in the direction of maintaining information discipline, content, and reasonable dosage, leaving no information gaps, and no errors for hostile forces to exploit to sabotage.
Many major, new, and complicated issues affecting the thinking and mood of cadres and party members, such as handling errant cadres, including high-ranking cadres; perfecting key cadres; streamlining the organization and apparatus of the political system... were directed and oriented for extensive, timely, and focused propaganda, contributing to creating solidarity, unity, and strengthening trust among cadres, party members, and the people.
Cultural, artistic, scientific and educational work continues to be innovated in the direction of closely following reality, implementing synchronously and comprehensively in all areas of social life; well implementing the Party's policies and orientations in all areas.
