On November 29, information from the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission said that it had issued Notice No. 285-TB/UBKTTU on the results of reviewing and disciplining party members who violated the law.
Previously, on November 4, the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee held a meeting to review and propose disciplinary action against the violating party members, including: Mr. Tran Van Cong - former Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Xuong district, former Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs; Mr. Nguyen Dinh Du - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Xuong district; Mr. Ha The Anh - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Xuong district; Mr. Chu Duc Khuong - Head of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of the People's Committee of Quang Xuong district; Mr. Le Dinh Khoa - Head of the Department of Economy - Infrastructure of the People's Committee of the district, former Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Chinh commune, Quang Xuong and Mr. Ma Van Thanh - former Head of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of the People's Committee of Quang Xuong district.
Mr. Tran Van Cong, Nguyen Dinh Du, Chu Duc Khuong, Le Dinh Khoa, and Ma Van Thanh were prosecuted for criminal liability for abusing their positions and powers while performing official duties; Mr. Ha The Anh was prosecuted for criminal liability for lack of responsibility causing serious consequences.
Pursuant to Regulation No. 69-QD/TW dated July 6, 2022 of the Politburo on disciplinary action against violating Party organizations and Party members, on November 29, the Standing Committee of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee decided to take disciplinary action by expelling from the Party Mr. Tran Van Cong, Nguyen Dinh Du, Chu Duc Khuong, Le Dinh Khoa, Ma Van Thanh, and Ha The Anh.
