This afternoon (December 2), at the National Assembly House, Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man attended the opening ceremony of the Vietnam National Assembly Museum; announced books, publications and issued a set of stamps to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam National Assembly (1946 - 2026).
Speaking at the ceremony, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man emphasized that this is an important event, helping the public to better understand the history of formation, development and the position and role of the National Assembly in the development history of the Vietnamese people.
The National Assembly Chairman stated that the books published today provide valuable scientific and historical documents on the organization, operation and important achievements of the National Assembly in the cause of protecting, building and developing the country and integrating internationally.
The stamp set commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Vietnamese National Assembly has a profound meaning, through delicately depicted symbolic images with high artistic value. Each stamp becomes a miniature work, contributing to spreading the image of the innovative, professional and modern Vietnamese National Assembly.
"In particular, the National Assembly Museum is a meaningful project, contributing to completing the comprehensive picture of the 8-year history of the National Assembly. Honoring the contributions of National Assembly leaders through the ages, the sense of responsibility and dedication to the Fatherland and the people of generations of National Assembly deputies" - the National Assembly Chairman emphasized.
In order for the Vietnam National Assembly Museum to promote its effectiveness, the National Assembly Chairman suggested that agencies assigned to manage and operate to promote professionalism, modernity and creativity in its activities; proactively research, collect and supplement valuable documents and artifacts; apply modern technology, digital transformation; build a digital data warehouse for documents and artifacts.
The National Assembly Chairman hopes that the National Assembly agencies and National Assembly deputies will contribute and donate artifacts to enrich the document warehouse, contributing to building the Museum more and more complete.
Along with that, promote propaganda so that more people know about the National Assembly Museum of Vietnam, becoming an attractive address to contribute to political and ideological education, especially for the younger generation, in learning about the history of the National Assembly.
Reporting at the ceremony, Secretary General of the National Assembly, Head of the National Assembly Office Le Quang Manh said that the National Assembly Museum of Vietnam with an exhibition area of over 800m2, introduced nearly 1,000 images, documents and 250 typical artifacts...
Each artifact, image, and document on display is a story about the dedication, enthusiasm, intelligence, and responsibility of generations of National Assembly leaders and National Assembly deputies, contributing to making the activities of the National Assembly increasingly innovative, effective, and efficient.
