On October 18, at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, Politburo member and Standing Secretary of the Secretariat Luong Cuong chaired a meeting with Party Committees, 4 offices, Party committees, agencies, and organizations in the Central Government (25 focal points).
According to VNA, at the conference, the leaders of the Party Central Office reported on the situation and results of work in the third quarter of 2024.
From now until the end of 2024, there is still a lot of work, quite heavy. Agencies need to be determined and make great efforts to complete the 2024 program at the highest level, while urgently implementing new tasks.
These include: High-speed railway investment project on the North-South axis; building a digital transformation project in party agencies, a project to establish the Communist Party of Vietnam Museum, and a project to renovate, upgrade, and build a new West Lake Villa Area.
The conference also heard about key tasks for the fourth quarter of 2024 and the coming time.
Firstly, strengthen the supervision of the implementation of issued resolutions, directives, conclusions and the 2024 Work Program; prepare projects to ensure progress and quality; actively prepare for the 14th National Party Congress, especially seeking opinions from grassroots congresses and people on Congress documents.
Second, advice on solutions to promote national development based mainly on science and technology; promote disbursement of public investment capital; actively implement Project 06; and implement the project to rearrange administrative units at district and commune levels in the 2023-2025 period.
Encourage and attract resources from the people for development investment; propose specific solutions to promote thrift practice and combat waste; focus on labor, employment, and social security issues.
Third, ensure national defense, security, foreign affairs, Party building, and law-making. Urgently complete the supplementary planning of the 14th Party Central Committee, Politburo, and Secretariat. Promote the work of asset appraisal, valuation, and recovery of corrupt assets.
Fourth, agencies focus on reviewing and directing the completion of their own tasks while actively coordinating to complete common tasks.
Focus on advice, propose tasks, and solutions on a macro, strategic level, with breakthroughs to seize all opportunities, unlock all resources; resolutely remove difficulties, obstacles, and bottlenecks.
Pay attention to internal work; proactively review and perfect regulations and rules towards standardization, processization, and individualization of roles and responsibilities; care for the lives, create a favorable working environment and conditions for cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers.
Fifth, for important Party projects and proposals, agencies need to unify their awareness of the meaning and importance of the projects and take responsibility for their implementation, such as: Establishing working groups; participating in giving opinions; preparing and directly and specifically participating in each project and proposal according to their functions and tasks.
These are new, difficult tasks that require high technical and aesthetic requirements, so we need to focus, be determined, put our mind, heart, and effort into creating worthy projects and ensuring progress.
