Associate Professor, Dr. Doan Minh Huan - Member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics - emphasized this content in his speech at the 50th Anniversary of the establishment and receipt of the Third Class Labor Medal of the Faculty of Party Building ( acclaim of Journalism and Communication), on the morning of November 15.
Analyzing the impacts and context of the domestic and international situation, Associate Professor, Dr. Doan Minh Huan requested the Faculty of Party Building to continue promoting the tradition of solidarity, making further efforts in adapting to new requirements, continuing to affirm its position and prestige in the system of Party schools, universities, and training institutions for political theory and political science nationwide.
Referring to many key groups of tasks, Associate Professor, Dr. Doan Minh Huan proposed to promote the application of digital technology in innovating content and teaching and learning methods; diversify forms of testing and assessment in accordance with modern teaching methods, to improve training quality and efficiency.
The Faculty needs to focus on updating and promptly supplementing new information and knowledge about Party building and the political system stated in the 14th National Party Congress Documents and Central Resolutions, and the State's policies and laws.
Continue to affirm its pioneering position in research and propaganda, contributing to protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile viewpoints; maintain and strive to win many awards in the Political Contest on protecting the Party's ideological foundation.
He also requested to continue building and developing a team of staff and lecturers, especially a team of young lecturers with political qualities, solid professional capacity and a spirit of dedication. Encourage and create conditions for students, trainees, and graduate students to be both enthusiastic about studying and actively researching science.
In her speech celebrating the 50th anniversary of its establishment, Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Thi Huong - Head of the Department of Party Building - said that 50 years ago, the Department of Party Building was separated from the Department of Party History, marking the beginning of a unit of in-depth training and research on Party Building and State Governance in the national education system. Over the past half century, the Faculty of Party Building has had strong and proud development steps, achieving many achievements in all aspects of its work.
In 50 years, the Faculty has enrolled 54 regular university classes; 78 undergraduate classes for part-time study, 53 graduate classes, and 15 graduate research classes. The Faculty is responsible for teaching 38 subjects at the university level, 24 subjects at the master's level, and 10 subjects at the doctoral level.
With its persistent contributions over the past 50 years, the Faculty of Party Building is proud to be a quality, branded and prestigious scientific training and research unit on Party Building and State Government, achieving many emulation titles of the Academy of Journalism and Communication, the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and noble awards of the Party and State.
Recognizing the achievements of the Faculty, on the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of its establishment, the Faculty of Party Building was honored to be awarded the Third Class Labor Medal by the President.
