On November 2, news from the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee said that the working delegation of Khanh Hoa province led by Mr. Nghiem Xuan Thanh - Secretary of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee visited, encouraged and presented 3.5 billion VND in support to Hue city and Quang Tri province to help overcome the consequences of the recent prolonged floods.
Khanh Hoa province supported Hue city with 2 billion VND and Quang Tri province with 1.5 billion VND to overcome the consequences of floods.
Working with the Party Committee, government and people of Hue city, Quang Tri province, Mr. Nghiem Xuan Thanh, on behalf of the Party Committee, government, army and people of Khanh Hoa province, sent his condolences and deep sympathy for the damage and losses that the people of the two localities suffered during the natural disaster.
Provincial Party Secretary Nghiem Xuan Thanh said that, responding to the call of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Khanh Hoa province has launched a movement to support the people of the Central region, receiving enthusiastic response from agencies, units, localities, enterprises, cadres, civil servants, public employees and people in the area.
The amount of donations of 3.5 billion VND was sent to Hue city and Quang Tri province - the localities most severely affected by the flood.
Representatives of the leaders of Hue city and Quang Tri province expressed their deep gratitude for the timely affection and support of the Party Committee, government and people of Khanh Hoa province.
The leaders of the two localities emphasized that this sharing is a great source of spiritual encouragement, helping people in flooded areas overcome difficulties, restore production and stabilize their lives.
Localities also committed to allocating all support money to the right subjects, ensuring the use of transparent, fair and appropriate funding sources, contributing to helping people soon stabilize their lives after natural disasters.
