This morning (September 19), the opening session of the 6th Global Vietnam Young Intellectuals Forum in 2025 took place in Hanoi.
Speaking at the opening of the Forum, Mr. Nguyen Tuong Lam - Secretary of the Central Youth Union, President of the Central Youth Union of Vietnam - said that good professional knowledge, good creative thinking ability, high integration ability and national spirit always wanting to contribute to building the country are the strengths of young Vietnamese intellectuals.
With the theme "Vietnam Young Intellectuals Global contribution to the country entering a new era", the 6th Vietnam Young Intellectuals Global Forum is a practical activity to implement Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo, maximizing the role, intelligence, and creativity of the Vietnamese young intellectual community in the cause of national development.
According to Mr. Nguyen Tuong Lam, to implement Resolution 57 as well as the orientations at the 13th National Party Congress and the National Science and Technology Development Strategy to 2030, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union identified accompanying young intellectuals as not only a political responsibility, but also an investment for the future of the country.
We are proud to see more and more young Vietnamese intellectuals holding important positions in the fields of high technology, medicine, energy, education, global finance, etc. From famous research centers to multinational corporations, from advanced laboratories to disadvantaged lands, they are contributing to positioning Vietnam in a new position in the global value chain - Chairman of the Vietnam Youth Union affirmed.
With the participation of talented young scientists from leading organizations in the world such as MIT, Cambridge, Google, Microsoft, and domestic experts, the 6th Vietnam Young Intelligence Forum Global promises to create breakthroughs in the application of science, technology, innovation, contributing to bringing Vietnam far on the global knowledge map. The event is not only a place to gather intelligence but also a testament to the spirit of initiative and creativity of the young generation of Vietnam, ready to contribute to building a strong and prosperous country.
The forum focused on discussing 4 key groups of contents, in which science and technology play a core role, to concretize Resolution 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on the development of science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation.
The topics include: Applying AI and new technologies to improve labor productivity; Innovation startups associated with green economy and sustainable development; Sustainable adaptation to the challenges of the global transformation era; Developing cultural and educational foundations in the new era...
The 6th Vietnam Young Intellectuals Global Forum in 2025 is organized by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (KHCN), the Vietnam Young Intellectuals Global Network, Vin University and Saigon Thuong Tin Joint Stock Commercial Bank.
Since 2018, the Vietnam Young Intellectuals Global Forum has been held in 5 editions.
