On the morning of February 1 (the 4th day of the Lunar New Year), after giving the order to start the construction of the Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Dau Mot - Chon Thanh expressway project, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh inspected the progress of the Long Thanh airport project (Dong Nai).
Attending the Central delegation were Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha and leaders of relevant ministries and branches.
At the Long Thanh airport project construction site, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh wished a happy new year, gave gifts and lucky money to officers, engineers and workers who were working through the Tet holiday on the aircraft parking and passenger terminal construction sites.
After wishing a Happy New Year to officials, engineers and workers, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the Central working delegation worked with relevant units and Dong Nai province on the progress of the Long Thanh airport project.
At the meeting, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said that the progress of the Long Thanh airport project has not changed the target of completion by December 31, 2025.
Therefore, the Prime Minister requested investors and contractors to change construction methods, increase machinery, increase working hours, work in 3 shifts, and not set tables back... to ensure progress.
The Prime Minister suggested additional solutions such as mobilizing military, police, youth, trade unions, etc. to participate in the construction.
The Prime Minister requested Dong Nai province to coordinate with ministries and branches to thoroughly resolve problems related to the supply of construction materials and filling materials for the project...
