President Luong Cuong called on our compatriots abroad to join hands so that the country can confidently enter a new era of development.

On the evening of January 19, President Luong Cuong and his wife attended the Spring Homeland 2025 Art Exchange Program "Vietnam - Rising in the New Era".

In his New Year greetings to overseas Vietnamese, President Luong Cuong affirmed: "The Party, the State and our compatriots at home always pay attention to and follow the situation of our compatriots abroad and are extremely excited and proud to see that over the past year, despite facing many difficulties and challenges, even at times of insecurity in some areas with war and natural disasters, our compatriots still kept their hearts steadfast, nurtured their will, and rose up to build a better life; many compatriots have affirmed their position in the local society, some of whom have been listed on the world intellectual map. This is a clear demonstration of the valuable qualities of the Vietnamese people: Courage in hardship, resilience in the face of adversity, the will to rise up in the face of storms; affirming the increasingly solid position of the Vietnamese community in the international arena".

According to the President, our nation has gone through the most difficult and arduous years. Today, "we have risen, "shaken off the mud and stood up shining", confidently reaching out to the ocean, joining the flow of humanity". Looking to the future, Vietnam is preparing a solid foundation for our country to confidently enter a new era, an era of development, wealth and prosperity.

Affirming that the overseas Vietnamese community is an inseparable part of the Vietnamese nation, an important resource of the Vietnamese people, the President emphasized that policies and guidelines related to overseas Vietnamese will continue to be implemented more comprehensively and strongly in the future, clearly demonstrating the sentiments and responsibilities of the Party and State in increasingly better meeting the legitimate aspirations and wishes of our compatriots abroad, creating motivation to encourage our compatriots to rise up, build a good life, foster and nurture the spirit of patriotism, love for the nation, and preserve the Vietnamese language and culture - the soul of the Vietnamese nation with thousands of years of civilization.

"In the process of building and developing the country, the Party and State always appreciate and value the contributions of our compatriots abroad, together realizing the goal of building a strong and prosperous Vietnam. At this meaningful moment, I call on our compatriots abroad to continue to unite, work together, nurture patriotism, and join hands with our compatriots at home to shoulder the great mission of the nation" - the President shared.

"The Spring of At Ty 2025 is approaching very soon. Young buds, green shoots, and spring flowers are reaching out to embrace the quintessence of dawn and the vitality of heaven and earth; with "heavenly time, favorable location, and harmony of people" converging, more than ever, we must quickly seize the opportunity and luck so that the country can confidently enter a new era of development" - President Luong Cuong emphasized.
