Proposal to discipline 4 party organizations and 12 party members in Dong Nai
On September 26, the Inspection Committee (IC) of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee announced that it had just held its 42nd session.
At the meeting, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission requested the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Executive Committee to consider disciplinary action against 4 party organizations and 12 party members.
The Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission has decided to issue a warning to one party member and issue a notice of conclusion on shortcomings, violations and severe criticism to 10 party members under its authority.
Chairman of Chuong My district (Hanoi) was disciplined
On September 25, the Hanoi Party Committee's Inspection Commission announced information on handling violations of party organizations and party members.
Accordingly, on September 23, the Hanoi Party Committee's Inspection Commission held a meeting and concluded the inspection when there were signs of violations against the Party Committee of the Hanoi Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board (Traffic Board) for the 2020-2025 term and related Party members in the leadership and direction of the implementation of Party regulations and State laws for the bidding package "Construction of the bridge section from pillar 25 to pillar 47 of the Vinh Tuy Bridge Construction Investment Project - Phase 2".
This bid package is implemented by the Joint Venture of Thuan An Trade Construction Development Joint Stock Company - Thang Long Bridge 7 Joint Stock Company.
The Hanoi Party Committee's Inspection Commission decided to impose a disciplinary warning on the Party Committee of the Traffic Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
Remove from all Party positions Mr. Trinh Van Thanh, Deputy Head of Project Management Department 2 and Mr. Le Van Mang, official of Project Management Department 2.
Warning to Mr. Nguyen Chi Cuong, Party Secretary, Director of the Traffic Department and Mr. Pham Van Duan, Deputy Director of the Traffic Department.
Reprimand Mr. Nguyen Anh Duc, Chairman of the People's Committee of Chuong My district, former Deputy Director of the Traffic Department; Mr. Nguyen Dinh Dan and Vu Tien Binh, officials of the Project Management Department 2.
The Party Committee's Inspection Commission also requested the Hanoi Party Committee's Standing Committee to take disciplinary action according to its authority and remove two party members from their positions.
On September 24, the Hanoi Party Committee met and decided to take disciplinary action by removing from all Party positions Mr. Pham Hoang Tuan, former Director of the Traffic Department, and Mr. Do Dinh Phan, Deputy Director of the Traffic Department.
The Hanoi Party Committee also decided to remove Mr. Nguyen Chi Cuong from his position as Director of the Traffic Department and Mr. Pham Van Duan from his position as Deputy Director of the Traffic Department.
Remove the position of Director of Department of Health
Chairman of Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee Pham Ngoc Nghi has just signed Decision No. 2376/QD-UBND on disciplinary action against Mr. Doan Huu Long, former Director of Dak Lak Provincial Department of Health.
Accordingly, the Chairman of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee decided to take disciplinary action by removing the position of Director of the Dak Lak Provincial Department of Health from Mr. Doan Huu Long, former Director of the Dak Lak Provincial Department of Health.
The reason is that, in his role and responsibility as the head of the Department of Health, Mr. Long lacked responsibility in inspection and supervision, failed to detect violations; signed documents requesting bids, approving bids and designating bids for a group of 14 pharmaceutical products against regulations, causing damage to the State budget, and was disciplined by the Secretariat by being expelled from the Party.
Disciplinary action against former Deputy Head of Urban Management Department of Bac Lieu City
On September 24, the People's Committee of Bac Lieu City (Bac Lieu Province) announced that it had decided to discipline Mr. Tran Nhat Trung - an official of the Bac Lieu City Construction Investment Project Management Board - former Deputy Head of the Bac Lieu City Urban Management Department.
Mr. Trung was disciplined for advising the Bac Lieu City People's Committee to allow a household to build a house in violation of the law.
According to the case file, in March 2022, Ms. D.T.H (residing in Bac Lieu City) submitted an application to repair and renovate a temporary house. Afterwards, the Bac Lieu City Urban Management Department inspected and discovered that Ms. H's household had built a new house and had completed it.
The house was built on land without a land use rights certificate and without a construction permit.
