Disciplinary action against Deputy Director of Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Quang Tri province
On October 2, the Inspection Committee of the 17th Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee issued a press release on the 39th meeting of the Committee.
The Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission found that Mr. Dang Trong Van - Deputy Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment (TNMT) of Quang Tri province, during his tenure as Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Committee of Huong Hoa district from November 2017 to July 31, 2023, had shortcomings and violations in leadership, management and operation, lack of inspection, failure to detect, allowing subordinates under his management to perform assigned tasks, violating Party regulations and State laws on land, causing serious consequences.
During his tenure as Party Cell Secretary and Director of the Land Registration Office of Huong Hoa District, Mr. Tran Nhat Hoang took advantage of his assigned duties and responsibilities to advise on the issuance of land use right certificates and land use purpose conversions in violation of land laws, causing very serious consequences and risking loss to the State budget.
The Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission decided to discipline Mr. Dang Trong Van with a reprimand and expel Mr. Tran Nhat Hoang from the Party.

On October 2, according to a statement from the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Inspection Commission, this unit has just reviewed and disciplined a number of party members and party organizations.
The Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Inspection Commission said that the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee has disciplined Mr. Nguyen Anh Thi - Party Secretary and Head of Management of the City's High-Tech Park by removing him from all Party positions.
Mr. Thi violated regulations on what party members are not allowed to do; regulations on exemplary responsibility of cadres and party members, especially key leaders at all levels; and the Law on Marriage and Family.
Also according to the announcement, the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Inspection Commission has taken disciplinary action against Mr. Nguyen Van Tho - former Party Secretary and former Director of Central Psychiatric Hospital 2.
Mr. Tho violated the regulations on what party members are not allowed to do; the Party's regulations and the State's laws on leadership, management and use of state assets, in directing the signing of joint venture contracts, association contracts, and exploitation of land on the land belonging to the Psychological Counseling Center project and the project to renovate and repair the psychological counseling house and guest house on the campus of Central Psychiatric Hospital 2, causing damage to state assets.
Disciplinary action against Mr. Le Van Phuoc, Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee
Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh signed Decision No. 1070/QD-TTg dated October 1, 2024 on disciplinary action against Mr. Le Van Phuoc, Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee.
The decision clearly states that administrative discipline in the form of reprimand was imposed on Mr. Le Van Phuoc, Vice Chairman of An Giang Provincial People's Committee, for violations and shortcomings in his work, and the Central Inspection Commission has imposed Party discipline.
Disciplined 18 party members according to the conclusion of the Central Inspection Committee
On October 1, at the 17th Provincial Party Committee Conference, the Standing Committee of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee said that up to now, Quang Nam has completed the review, consideration of responsibilities, and disciplinary action against organizations and party members who violated according to Notice No. 581 dated November 30, 2023 of the Central Inspection Commission.
Of which, for the collective, there are 8 party organizations that violated to the extent that they must be disciplined. The competent authority has issued a disciplinary decision of reprimand to 5 party organizations, and 3 party organizations violated to the extent of reprimand but did not issue a disciplinary decision due to the expiration of the disciplinary statute of limitations.
There are 8 party organizations with shortcomings and violations but not to the extent of disciplinary action, have been seriously reviewed, and profound lessons have been drawn.
Regarding individuals, there were 31 party members who violated to the extent that disciplinary action had to be taken. The competent authority issued a disciplinary decision warning 1 party member and reprimanding 17 party members.
