Expelled from the Party the former Director of the State Bank of Vietnam in Hoa Binh
On January 16, the Hoa Binh Provincial Party Committee informed that the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee had just held a meeting to consider disciplinary action against party members according to regulations.
Mr. Ngo Quang Loi, former Acting Director of the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) Hoa Binh Province Branch, while holding the position of Deputy Director of a bank branch in Hoa Binh Province, violated Party regulations and State laws in performing assigned duties and tasks; violated working regulations; violated regulations on what Party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility to set an example.
The Provincial Party Standing Committee decided to discipline Mr. Ngo Quang Loi by expelling him from the Party.
The Standing Committee of Hoa Binh Provincial Party Committee also disciplined Ms. Vu Thi Ngoc - District Party Committee member, former Head of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Kim Boi district by expelling her from the Party.
At the meeting, the Standing Committee of the Hoa Binh Provincial Party Committee also carried out disciplinary action by expelling from the Party three other officials and leaders, including: Tran Van Thanh (Deputy Head of the Provincial Industrial Parks Management Board), Trinh Ngoc Thuy (Deputy Secretary of the Party Cell, Vice President of the Provincial Cooperative Union) and Dinh Thi Ngoc Hoa (Vice President of the Provincial Cooperative Union).
Disciplinary action against Director of Department of Planning and Investment of Dak Nong province
The Dak Nong Provincial Party Committee recently met to consider a proposal to discipline Mr. Tran Dinh Ninh, Director of the Department of Planning and Investment; former Chairman of the People's Committee of Gia Nghia City (formerly Gia Nghia Town).
Mr. Ninh committed violations and shortcomings in land management and use. The Provincial Party Committee decided to discipline Mr. Tran Dinh Ninh with a reprimand.
Dak Nong disciplines many officials involved in 2 wrongful convictions
On January 13, the Dak Nong Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee confirmed that the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee had just issued disciplinary decisions on a number of groups and individuals related to two wrongful convictions in the area.
The Standing Committee of Dak Nong Provincial Party Committee decided to discipline Mr. Phan Thanh Hai, former member of the Party Executive Committee and Deputy Director of the Provincial People's Procuracy, by removing him from all positions in the Party.
Mr. Phan Thanh Hai was assigned to exercise the right to prosecute and supervise the investigation of the criminal case against Mr. Do Van Hung in Dak Ha commune, Dak Glong district, but injustice and mistakes occurred.
Regarding the illegal prosecution of Mr. Le Truong and Ms. Ton Nu Kim Loan (Dak Ha commune, Dak Glong district), the Standing Committee of Dak Nong Provincial Party Committee decided to discipline Mr. Nay Gia Phu, Deputy Director of Dak Nong Provincial Police, with a reprimand.
Mr. Nay Gia Phu was determined to have committed violations and shortcomings in the process of prosecuting the criminal case in violation of regulations, leading to injustice and mistakes.
Disciplinary action against a Deputy Director in Dak Nong for using an illegal university degree
At the 44th and 45th sessions, the Dak Nong Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee reviewed signs of violations by Mr. Le Thanh Chung, Party Committee member, Deputy Secretary of Party Cell 3, Deputy Director of the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board.
The Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission found that Mr. Le Thanh Chung had violated the law by using an illegal university degree to receive training, salary increases, and appointments that were not in accordance with the law.
The Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission decided to discipline Mr. Chung by removing him from all Party positions.
