On January 10, at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, the Politburo and the Secretariat reviewed and disciplined party members with violations and shortcomings.

Based on the content, nature, level, consequences, and causes of violations by Party members, according to the Party's regulations on disciplining violating Party members, the Politburo decided to issue a warning disciplinary action against Mr. Duong Van An - Secretary of Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee, former Secretary of Binh Thuan Provincial Party Committee (from October 2020 to March 2024).

The Secretariat decided to expel from the Party the following personnel: Le O Pich - former member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, member of the Party Executive Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Giang province; Ly Vinh Quang - former member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Lang Son province.

Propose that competent authorities promptly enforce administrative discipline in line with party discipline.

At the 53rd session of the Central Inspection Commission, which took place from January 6 to 8, the inspection agency reviewed the Report on the results of the proposal to discipline party members who violated the law at local and unit Party Committees.

In particular, the Central Inspection Committee determined that Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province - violated Party regulations and State laws in performing assigned duties and tasks, in preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity.

The Central Inspection Committee decided to impose disciplinary action against Mr. Nguyen Tan Tuan.

Disciplinary action against Project Management Director for awarding contract to his brother

On January 9, Tan Hiep District Party Committee, Kien Giang Province announced that the Standing Committee of Tan Hiep District Party Committee had disciplined Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thach - Director of the District Project Management Board, with a reprimand after receiving a complaint that he had assigned the contract to his brother.

Previously, people had sent a complaint to the authorities of Kien Giang province about Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thach - Party Cell Secretary, Director of Tan Hiep District Project Management Board - appointing two brothers to participate in many projects without following the law.

Accordingly, Mr. Thach has a biological brother, Mr. N.V.M, Director of M.D.K Private Enterprise and Mr. N.V.H, Director of H.P Company.

These two enterprises were assigned by Mr. Thach to many works and projects such as: dredging project of canal 6 floating stone B, Thanh Dong commune, Tan Hiep district; dredging project of canal 9B, Thanh Dong commune; repairing the district's Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, repairing the district's Department of Education and Training, repairing Tan Thanh Primary and Secondary School, Tan Thanh commune, Tan Hiep district.
