On September 25, Ho Chi Minh City Party Secretary Tran Luu Quang attended a meeting with voters of National Assembly deputies before the 10th session, with voters of Ba Ria, Long Huong and Tam Long wards organized by National Assembly Delegation No. 15 - Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Delegation.
At the conference, many voters raised their opinions related to difficulties in the process of implementing compensation and site clearance in Ba Ria City (formerly in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province) and many other recommendations hoping to be resolved soon, ensuring the lives of local people.
After listening to the comments and recommendations of voters, Mr. Tran Luu Quang - Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee - commented that the current regulations are much more open than before, promoting decentralization for wards and communes to solve many problems, in the spirit of ensuring the legitimate interests of the people.
" Localities are given authority to do it, if they do their best but cannot do it, the Ho Chi Minh City government will handle and support them. In order to resolve outstanding issues for people in accordance with legal regulations", Mr. Tran Luu Quang emphasized.
In some cases that are not in accordance with regulations, it is possible to consider applying support policies that are permitted by law, to ensure the most fairness in the rights of the people. At the same time, comrades in wards and communes need to try their best to be responsible, prioritizing the resolution of problems that affect the majority of people.
Currently, Ho Chi Minh City has been assigned by the Central Government to major tasks such as: building an international financial center in Ho Chi Minh City, Cai Mep Ha Free Trade Zone in the Ba Ria - Vung Tau area before... These are very new models, very new mechanisms will be the driving force to develop Ho Chi Minh City worthy of growth, contributing not only to the lives of the people but also of the region and the whole country.
Therefore, each organization and individual must fulfill their assigned responsibilities to achieve growth targets above 8% this year and reach double digits in 2026.
During its operation, local authorities will certainly have hesitation in assigning cadres. In the coming time, Ho Chi Minh City will have a policy to re-allocate if not reasonable, from the city to the grassroots to ensure the best squad, along with more complete guidance, accumulate more experience... to serve the lives of local people better and better.
