On December 1, the Standing Committee of Lang Son Provincial Party Committee convened a special meeting of the Provincial Party Executive Committee to elect the Secretary of the 17th Lang Son Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term and elect additional members of the Inspection Committee of the 17th Lang Son Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
Accordingly, at the conference, Mr. Ho Tien Thieu, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee presented the report of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on personnel introduction for Mr. Hoang Van Nghiem, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation.
As a result, with the absolute vote of confidence of 100% of the delegates present, Mr. Hoang Van Nghiem was elected by the Provincial Party Executive Committee to hold the position of Secretary of the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee, term XVII, 2020-2025.
During the program, the conference also elected an additional member of the Inspection Committee of Lang Son Provincial Party Committee, term XVII, 2020-2025, for Mr. Nguyen Duc Thuan, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Deputy Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office.
Mr. Hoang Van Nghiem was elected as Secretary of Lang Son Provincial Party Committee to replace Mr. Nguyen Quoc Doan, who was recently appointed as Judge of the Supreme People's Court.
Mr. Hoang Van Nghiem, born in 1968, Tay ethnic group; hometown: Binh La commune, Binh Gia district, Lang Son province; professional qualifications: Master of Economics, Bachelor of Political Economics, Bachelor of Commerce; advanced political theory qualification.
Previously, Mr. Hoang Van Nghiem held the positions of: Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Lang Son province, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Lang Son province.
