Seeking opinions on awarding the title of Heroic City to Hai Phong

    The Ministry of Home Affairs is consulting the people on awarding the title of "Heroic City" to the Party Committee, government and people of Hai Phong City.

    On March 12, Mr. Pham Huy Giang - Head of the Central Emulation and Reward Committee (Ministry of Home Affairs) signed Official Dispatch No. 472/BTDKT-P.I on collecting public opinions on the proposal to award the title of "Heroic City".

    On February 27, the People's Committee of Hai Phong City submitted Document No. 29/TTr-UBND to the Prime Minister for consideration and submission to the President to award the title of "Heroic City" to the Party Committee, government and people of Hai Phong City.

    Pursuant to Decree No. 98/2023/ND-CP dated December 31, 2023 of the Government detailing the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Emulation and Commendation, the Ministry of Home Affairs conducts public consultation on awarding the title of "Heroic City" to the above-mentioned reward proposal case.

    The comments should be sent to the Ministry of Home Affairs (Central Emulation and Reward Board), address number 103 Quan Thanh, Ba Dinh, Hanoi no later than March 25, 2025 for synthesis.
