In the strong development flow of the country, the trust and consensus of the people continue to be invaluable resources, the foundation for Vietnam to firmly step in the face of all fluctuations. However, along with that increase, there are increasingly sophisticated sabotage activities, especially on cyberspace, where false and harmful information is released to divide the great national unity bloc, defame the Party and undermine the people's trust.
Old tricks in the new "shell"
In recent years, hostile forces have continuously taken advantage of issues of religion, ethnicity, land, complaints... to distort, incite, and create social "hot spots". On social networks, they inflate the falsehood that religion is oppressed, Districting against ethnic minorities, or distort personal violations into the fault of the entire system. These arguments have been repeatedly exposed as completely wrong, but are still constantly reappearing in more sophisticated forms.
Many reactionary organizations create stories of "religious conflicts", " autarchy", and incite ethnic minorities to "religion". Behind the seemingly humane tricks is a plot to sabotage the great national unity bloc, sow skepticism in the community, and break the people's trust in the Party and the State.
In particular, before and during the preparation for the 14th National Party Congress, hostile forces increased the spread of fake news about personnel and documents, fabricated internal "fighting" and "playing a stone", deliberately creating a distorted picture of the Party's preparation work. Their method is no different from the goal: shaking the people's trust, thereby breaking the political and social stability.
People on the front lines in fighting against bad and toxic information
Rosary information is only "background" when people lack verification and are easily led by emotions. On the contrary, when each citizen proactively resists and is alert to the flow of information, all distorted plots will become meaningless.
In many Party cell activities, community gatherings or union forums, cadres and people clearly showed a vigilant spirit. As shared by people in Hanoi, Quang Tri, Bac Ninh..., constantly reminding each other to "not share unverified information", "not supporting the propaganda of division" has become self-conscious awareness.
Or at Gio Linh (Quang Tri), youth union members are propagandized to identify and refute fake information early to incite religious and ethnic division. Many families, as a party member in Dong Ha ward said, always remind their children and grandchildren to be vigilant against dark websites that "protect human rights" but actually post anti-corruption information.
Those evidences show that: people's hearts are very bright, people are not easily attracted, but on the contrary, they are becoming the force playing a frontline role in the fight to protect clean information space.
Important voice from the press
It is not by chance that reactionary organizations continuously seek to distort and distort information. They understand that only when the official information flow is disrupted can they sow skepticism. Therefore, the press is the "soft shield" but is extremely effective in this battle.
The press needs to increase sharp political articles, promptly "break" false arguments, while spreading positive values, "good life, beautiful life" stories, and unique solidarity models in the community.
Articles reflecting social security policies, development of ethnic minority areas, stories of caring for religious believers or the effectiveness of national target programs... all play an important role in strengthening trust, ensuring people have access to the true nature of the matter.
The people's heart creates the strength to maintain great solidarity
Throughout history, the people's heart has always been the root of all victories. President Ho Chi Minh affirmed: "If it is easy for the people to do it a hundred times, it will be enough." Great national unity is the source of endogenous strength, the "urrent" of Invincibility against all plots of division.
The reality in localities shows that when the propaganda is correct, when legitimate rights are cared for, when the policy comes into life, people become more confident. Hot spots of religious complaints and land disputes that have lasted for many years have also been resolved stably when the government persistently dialogues, transparently informs and listens to the aspirations of the people.
The people's allegiance to the Party is not something that is imposed, but comes from reality: religious freedom is guaranteed, ethnic minority lives are cared for, social security is getting better and better, the economy and society are flourishing in all regions. That belief has been and is the fulcrum for the country to overcome difficulties and challenges in the context of global fluctuations.
To maintain the great national unity bloc in the context of increasingly complex world and cyberspace situations, the requirement is that each citizen must be proactive, alert and ready to act.
First of all, people need to improve "resistance to information". This does not stop at not sharing unverified information, but must form the habit of comparing information sources, distinguishing between true and fake, promptly identifying distorted and sensational content, and deliberately provoking division. When each citizen is aware of their rights and responsibilities in cyberspace, there will be no environment for bad and toxic information to spread.
At the same time, people must become active entities in the struggle to protect the Party's ideological foundation. boldly reporting to the authorities when detecting acts of inciting, fabricating or organizing the dissemination of fake news is a practical action that contributes to maintaining social stability. Along with refuting the wrong, each person also needs to spread positive values: share official information, encourage solidarity models, good stories in the community, thereby strengthening trust and nurturing the spirit of goodness in society.
The most important foundation is the belief in the leadership of the Party. The country's development practice over the years has affirmed: all policies and guidelines of the Party are aimed at the highest goal of bringing happiness to the people. When people believe that the statement is correct, the false arguments will be automatically neutralized.
In addition to the awareness of each citizen, the political system needs to continue to promote propaganda, proactively provide complete, timely and transparent information; and strictly handle acts of spreading fake and distorted news. The role of religious dignitaries and prestigious people in the community is also extremely important, because they are the "backbone of trust", the bridge to enhance consensus and strengthen the great national unity bloc. When the State and the People join hands, any division plots will not be able to shake the strength of solidarity that has become the core value of the Vietnamese people.
In the context of hostile forces increasingly fighting against against bad and toxic information, people's hearts must be more profound, and their trust must be stronger. When people are vigilant and proactively fight, cyberspace will not be able to become a land for divided arguments to flourish. When the people trust and agree, all sabotage plots fail.
That is the unwavering foundation for Vietnam to maintain the great national unity bloc - the strength to steadfastly bring the country into a new stage of development, towards the goal of a rich people, strong country, democracy, fairness and civilization.
Arresting, prosecuting, and temporarily detaining many subjects for propaganda against the State
Recently, the Ministry of Public Security informed: On December 4, 2025, the Ministry of Public Security's Security Investigation Agency issued a Decision to prosecute the accused, an Arrest Warrant for temporary detention, and a Search Warrant against Pham Quang Thien - former Director of the Center for Multimedia Technology and Communications under the Government Electronic Information Portal - for the crime of "Making, storing, disseminating, and propagating information and documents to fight against the Socialist Republic of Vietnam" as prescribed in Article 117 of the Penal Code.
Previously, the Ministry of Public Security also issued a wanted notice for Nguyen Van Dai and Le Trung Khoa with the above charges.
