On the afternoon of April 29, within the framework of the 22nd session, the Hanoi People's Council organized the election, dismissal, and appointment of members of the Hanoi People's Committee for a number of officials.
The City People's Council has dismissed the position of Member of Hanoi People's Committee for the term 2021-2026 for Lieutenant General Nguyen Hai Trung - former Director of Hanoi Police Department (transferred another work); Mr. Le Anh Quan - former Director of the Department of Planning and Investment of the City (accepting new tasks); Mr. Do Dinh Hong - former Director of the City Department of Culture and Sports (due to regime rest); Mr. Le Thanh Nam - former Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of the City (received a new task); Mr. Nguyen Viet Hung - former Director of the Department of Information and Communications of the City (received a new task); Ms. Ngo Minh Hoang - former Director of the City Department of Foreign Affairs (received a new task).
The City People's Council also elected the position of People's Committee Member for the 2021-2026 term for Major General Nguyen Thanh Tung - Director of Hanoi City Police.
