The Government Office has just issued Notice No. 68/TB-VPCP dated February 27, 2025 on the conclusion of Politburo member and Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh at the meeting on investing in the construction of a road connecting Gia Binh airport, Bac Ninh province with Hanoi capital and building a logistics center in the Gia Binh airport area.

The head of the Government especially noted that relevant agencies and entities must not let negativity, corruption, and waste occur.

The Prime Minister agreed in principle on the policy of studying the expansion of Gia Binh airport into a level 4E international airport; investing in the construction of a route connecting Gia Binh airport, Bac Ninh province with Hanoi capital and building a logistics center.

Agencies that make plans, projects, appraise, review, calculate, and carefully evaluate the investment scale and total investment to ensure accuracy, savings, efficiency, and avoid negativity and waste.

Relevant ministries, agencies and localities actively coordinate closely to implement, speed up preparation, implementation and strive to complete the synchronization of international airports and connecting routes by 2026 at the latest.

The Prime Minister also agreed to the policy of adjusting the Planning of Bac Ninh province for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050.

The announcement also requires striving to complete site clearance for the road connecting Gia Binh airport with Hanoi before June 30, 2025.

Assign the Ministry of Transport to draft a Decision of the Prime Minister to establish a Working Group to deploy investment in the road connecting Gia Binh airport, Bac Ninh province with Hanoi capital and build a logistics center in the Gia Binh airport area, complete procedures, and submit to the Prime Minister before February 28, 2025.

The working group includes: Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha as the team leader; Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee, Chairman of Bac Ninh Provincial People's Committee, leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, leaders of the Ministry of Transport as the deputy team leader.
