On April 29, at the thematic session (22-nd session), the Hanoi People's Council passed a Resolution regulating a number of specific expenditure contents and levels to support the work of drug prevention and control of Hanoi city.
The Resolution takes effect from May 1, 2025.
Accordingly, the Resolution stipulates the content and level of specific expenditure in the management of illegal drug users; drug addiction treatment; forces performing drug prevention and control tasks in the city, including the Hanoi City Police drug prevention and control force.
Regarding monthly support for officers, soldiers, and contract workers of the Hanoi City Police:
Contract workers at drug rehabilitation facilities under the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of the City Police; support level: 1 time of minimum wage in region I, equivalent to 4,960,000 VND/person/month.
Officers and soldiers of the Drug Crime Investigation Police force under the City Police; support level: 1 time of minimum wage of region I.
Officers and soldiers of the police advisory force of the Hanoi Police Department's Police Department and a number of officers and soldiers of the functional departments were responsible for advising and assisting the field of drug prevention and control of the Standing Committee of the City Police Prevention and Control; Support level: 1 time the minimum wage region I.
Monthly support for officers and soldiers of the City Police technical and professional force; support level: 0.8 times the minimum wage of region I, equivalent to VND 3,968,000/person/month.
