A Deputy Director of the Department applies for early retirement according to Decree 178

The Chairman of the Delegation Work Committee presented the Decision on early retirement to Deputy Director of the Delegation Work Department Trinh Ngoc Thang according to Decree No. 178.

On April 29, in Hanoi, the National Assembly's Delegation Affairs Committee held a ceremony to present the retirement decision to Deputy Director of the Delegation Affairs Department Trinh Ngoc Thang.

At the ceremony, Member of the Party Central Committee, Member of the National Assembly Standing Committee, Chairman of the National Assembly's Delegation Work Committee Nguyen Thanh Hai presented Decision No. 10/QD-UBCTDB15 of the Delegation Work Committee on early retirement for Deputy Director of the Delegation Work Department Trinh Ngoc Thang according to Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP dated December 31, 2024 of the Government.

On behalf of the Standing Committee of the Delegate Task Force, Ms. Nguyen Thanh Hai sent deep gratitude to Mr. Trinh Ngoc Thang for the dedication to the activities of the previous Delegate Working Department and the present working committee, contributing to the activities of the Center for Fostering Contracting Delegate, now the Delegate Department.

Ms. Nguyen Thanh Hai stated that, implementing the policies of the Party and State and according to personal wishes, Mr. Trinh Ngoc Thang's resignation from the regime according to Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP is not simply an individual decision but also demonstrates the sense of responsibility, exemplary conduct of cadres putting the common interest above personal rights.

"This is also a major policy of the Party and has been concretized at all levels, especially at the local level from the commune to the provincial level, which has been implemented very strongly, both helping to streamline the apparatus and creating conditions for the young generation to develop and contribute" - Chairman of the Delegation Affairs Committee Nguyen Thanh Hai affirmed.

The Chairman of the Delegate Committee also acknowledged and expressed respect for the exemplary spirit, ready to sacrifice personal rights because the common goal is to streamline the organization, innovation and arrangement of cadres in accordance with the spirit of the Party and the State.

Mr. Trinh Ngoc Thang affirmed that he will continue to strive with the Party Committee and local government where he resides to fulfill the responsibility of a Party member and a citizen.
