On July 20, Mr. Vo Trung Manh - Secretary of the Tu Mo Rong Commune Party Committee - said that the first Tu Mo Rong Commune Party Congress, term 2025-2030, will take place on July 23 and 24. The commune has just issued a notice about not accepting flowers to congratulate the Commune Party Congress.
Instead, the commune called on units and individuals to support funding, seedlings, fertilizers, and production materials for the program "Soting up the future - Developing sustainable crops for Tu Mo Rong", to support the Xofeng ethnic group to develop valuable economic models, contributing to increasing income and stabilizing their lives.
Explaining why he did not accept flowers to congratulate the congress, Mr. Manh said that the commune was established on the basis of merging the two old communes of Dak Ha and Tu Mo Rong, currently with about 1,300 households, of which the Xor Dang ethnic group accounts for 95%. The poverty rate is still high, people's lives are still difficult.
In the 2025 - 2030 term, the Commune Party Committee has identified the key goal of improving people's income and quality of life. One of the key solutions is to build high-value economic models, suitable to local conditions such as: medicinal plants, coffee, fruit trees, forestry trees. These crops are both economically efficient and cover forests with green trees, protect the environment and create sustainable livelihoods for people.
In addition to budget capital and national target programs, the commune is actively implementing the program "Growing future seeds - Developing sustainable crops in Tu Mo Rong" to mobilize more social resources. The program received support from organizations, individuals, and businesses to support seedlings and production materials for people.
Immediately after the announcement was issued, many units and individuals registered to participate in supporting seedlings and funding. The commune is committed to ensuring that all contributions will be compiled, made public, transparent and posted on the Tu Mo Rong Commune Electronic Information Portal immediately after the congress ends.
