Mr. Do Van Chien was trusted and elected to continue holding the position of Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term X, 2024-2029.

After 2 working days, on the morning of October 18, the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) held its closing session.

Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Hoang Cong Thuy said that at the first conference of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term X, 67 people were democratically elected to join the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front. The 5 vacancies will be filled during the term.

The conference democratically elected 4 members of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 10th tenure, to join the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 10th tenure:

1. Mr. Do Van Chien, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, holds the position of Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 10th tenure.

2. Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Party Delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, holds the position of Vice President - General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 10th tenure.

3. Mr. Hoang Cong Thuy, member of the Party Delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, holds the position of Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 10th tenure.

4. Ms. To Thi Bich Chau, member of the Party Delegation of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, holds the position of Vice Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 10th tenure.

The conference democratically elected 7 members of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 10th tenure, to hold the position of non-professional Vice Chairmen of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 10th tenure.

In his acceptance speech, Mr. Do Van Chien emphasized that he will be dedicated to the assigned tasks, promote his intelligence, uphold his responsibility, work to the best of his ability; overcome all difficulties, strive to complete the assigned tasks to the best of his ability.

Focus on synchronously, flexibly and creatively implementing tasks and solutions, maintaining solidarity, unanimity and consensus, and successfully implementing the directions, goals and tasks set out by the Congress.

Mr. Do Van Chien, born on November 10, 1962; hometown Ninh Lai commune, Son Duong district, Tuyen Quang province. He has a university degree in agriculture, majoring in Cultivation. High political level.
