On January 22, in Ha Giang, a conference was held to implement the Politburo's Decision on personnel work.
Attending the conference were Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Phan Dinh Trac, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang - Party Central Committee member, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
At the conference, the Politburo's Decision on assigning, transferring and appointing Mr. Hau A Lenh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Minister, Chairman of the Ethnic Committee to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of the Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term was announced.
Speaking at the program, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Phan Dinh Trac affirmed that Mr. Hau A Lenh is a cadre who has grown up from the grassroots, having worked in many positions at the Central and local levels. Mr. Hau A Lenh is assessed by the Politburo as a cadre with capacity and experience in Party building and political system building, with sharp thinking, scientific, democratic and decisive working methods.
In all his positions, Mr. Hau A Lenh always completed his assigned tasks well and excellently, making important contributions to the overall achievements and results of the locality and agency.
Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission Phan Dinh Trac believes that in his new position, the new Secretary of the Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee will continue to promote his experience, capacity and courage. Quickly grasp the local situation, together with the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, focus on leading and directing the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 17th Ha Giang Provincial Party Congress, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress.

Mr. Hau A Lenh was born on June 22, 1973, Mong ethnic group, hometown in Ta Van commune, Sapa town, Lao Cai province, professional qualifications: Master of Agricultural Science, advanced political theory.
Before becoming Secretary of the Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Hau A Lenh held the positions of Secretary of the Sapa District Party Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Northwest Steering Committee, Vice Chairman and General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
In April 2021, Mr. Hau A Lenh was elected Minister and Chairman of the Ethnic Committee.
