On July 16, the first Congress of the Party Committee of the Supreme People's Court (SPC) for the 2025-2030 term took place in Hanoi.
The Congress announced the decisions of the Party Committees of Central Party agencies on appointing members to the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary, and Inspection Committee of the Party Committee of the Supreme People's Court for the 2025-2030 term.
Among them, the Executive Committee of the TANDTC Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term was appointed, consisting of 22 people.
Mr. Le Minh Tri - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court - was appointed to hold the position of Secretary of the Party Committee of the Supreme People's Court for the 2025-2030 term.
Speaking at the congress, Politburo member and Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu stated that the Court sector must further identify and thoroughly grasp the task of protecting justice, protecting human rights, protecting fairness and reason.
At the same time, protect the interests of the State, the legitimate and legal interests of organizations and individuals to contribute to building an honest and modern judiciary to meet the practical situation in the new period.
From there, the Standing Committee of the Secretariat emphasized that the Court system needs to build and strengthen people's trust in the state's justice system. Strengthen listening to comments and strictly comply with the supervision of the people, the National Assembly, National Assembly deputies, and People's Council deputies with the activities of People's Courts at all levels.
The Court sector leads, directs, strives to achieve and exceed working targets according to the Resolution of the National Assembly; speeds up progress and improves the quality of settlement and trial of all types of cases, ensures that the Court's decisions are in accordance with the law, protect justice, protect human rights and civil rights.
Strengthen litigation at the courts; do a good job of mediation and dialogue in resolving civil and administrative cases; improve the effectiveness of handling requests for review and re-examination by directors; innovate law-making, perfect institutions and ensure the application of law.
Strengthen international cooperation; actively participate in international activities and forums related to the Court, thereby contributing to improving the capacity of the Court's staff in a number of areas of crime prevention and control, and trial skills in cases.
In addition, build and practice a culture of integrity, no corruption, waste, or negativity in the Party Committee. Pay attention to leading, directing the construction, training, and fostering of a team of cadres who are brave, steadfast, steadfast, have sharp professional qualifications, are rich in experience and responsibility, and are passionate about their profession.
