On March 18, the Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee held the 52nd conference to elect the position of Provincial Party Secretary for the 2020-2025 term.
At the conference, Ms. Nguyen Thi Yen Mai - Head of the Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee's Organization Committee approved the Proposal of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on the election of Provincial Party Committee Secretary for the 2020 - 2025 term.
As a result, with the absolute confidence of 100% of the delegates present, Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung was elected by the Provincial Party Committee to hold the position of Secretary of the Tay Ninh Provincial Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term, replacing Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tam who was recently transferred to the position of Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee.
Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung was born in 1974, from Hiep Hoa commune, Cau Ngang district, Tra Vinh province. Mr. Hung has a high level of bachelor's degree in Economics and political theory.
Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung has held the following positions: Deputy Chief of Office of the Provincial People's Committee, Director of the Department of Planning and Investment, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Secretary of the Go Dau District Party Committee, Secretary of the Tay Ninh City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Tay Ninh Provincial People's Committee.
