On the morning of February 27, the Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption, Wastefulness and Negativity of Ho Chi Minh City (Steering Committee) held its 9th meeting chaired by Mr. Nguyen Van Nen, Politburo member, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, Head of the Steering Committee.
At the meeting, the Steering Committee completed personnel, adding Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghi, member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, to hold the position of Deputy Head of the Steering Committee for preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity in Ho Chi Minh City.
The Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption, Wastefulness and Negativity of Ho Chi Minh City was established in August 2022.
Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghi will be the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee for the 2020 - 2025 term from the end of January 2025.
At the same time, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghi is also holding the role of Secretary of the Party Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Party agencies for the 2020 - 2025 term.
Recently, the Standing Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee has completed the Steering Committee for Inspection, Supervision, and urging the resolution of pending, problematic, and crowded complaints in Ho Chi Minh City (Steering Committee 902). Mr. Nguyen Thanh Nghi was assigned to participate in this Steering Committee and hold the position of Head of the Committee.
