On January 3, the People's Council of Que Son district (term XII, term 2021-2026) held its 15th session.
This is a thematic session to elect the positions: Chairman of the District People's Council, Vice Chairman of the District People's Council; Chairman and Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Que Son district, after merging with Nong Son district, from January 1, 2025.
At the meeting, Mr. Dinh Nguyen Vu - Secretary of Que Son District Party Committee was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the District People's Council; Mr. Ly Xuan Phong and Ms. Tao Thi To Diem were elected as Vice Chairmen of the District People's Council.
Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee (former Chairman of Nong Son District) was elected to hold the position of Chairman of Que Son District People's Committee.
The three new Vice Chairmen of Que Son District People's Committee include: Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy, Mr. Nguyen Minh Chau and Mr. Nguyen Chi Tung.
In their acceptance speeches, Mr. Dinh Nguyen Vu and Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa pledged to wholeheartedly carry out their duties, maintain their moral qualities, learn from the experiences of previous generations of leaders, and always stay closely connected with the people to successfully complete the assigned tasks.
Also at the meeting, the District People's Council approved the Project to establish specialized agencies under the district.
Previously, Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Son - Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Que Son district was transferred and appointed to the position of Deputy Director of the Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Traffic Works in Quang Nam province, from January 1, 2025.
