Launching a contest to learn about the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Vinh Long

On March 21, the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee of the Vinh Long Provincial Party Committee held a March reporter conference and launched a contest to learn about 50 years of liberating Vinh Long, the South, and unifying the country, with the participation of more than 3,200 delegates at 78 connecting points.

At the conference, delegates were informed about: "Propaganda on the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025)". Some main goals, tasks and solutions for socio-economic development of Vinh Long province in 2025 with a growth target of 8% - 8.5%.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Minh Trang - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, Deputy Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Vinh Long Province, Central Reporter informed about the "Situde and results of the implementation of Resolution No. 18-NQ/TW of the 12th Party Central Committee and Conclusion No. 127-KL/TW, dated February 28, 2025 of the Politburo and the Secretariat "On the implementation of research and proposal to continue to reorganize the apparatus of the political system" nationwide and orientation for propaganda in the coming time.

The conference was also launched by Mr. Nguyen Trung Kien - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department - an online contest to learn about 50 years of liberating Vinh Long, liberating the South, and unifying the country (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

The contest aims to raise awareness, arouse pride and promote revolutionary traditions, contributing to building and defending the Fatherland in the new situation.

"Through the contest, political education and propaganda, spreading the meaning of the event, expressing gratitude to the soldiers who sacrificed for the independence of the Fatherland", Mr. Kien emphasized this content.
