On January 18, at the Ca Mau Provincial Conference Center, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organization Commission Le Minh Hung announced and presented the Politburo's decision on the transfer and appointment to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, hold the position of Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee and appoint to join the Party Committee of Military Region 9 for the 2020-2025 term for Mr. Nguyen Ho Hai - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.

Mr. Nguyen Ho Hai was born on October 26, 1977, hometown Phuoc Vinh An commune, Cu Chi district, Ho Chi Minh City. Mr. Hai has a master's degree in Urban Management, construction engineering, bachelor's degree in Business Administration, and advanced political theory.

Before becoming the new Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee, Mr. Nguyen Ho Hai held the following positions: Deputy Head of the Urban Management Department of District 8; Head of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of District 8; Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of District 8; Secretary of the District Party Committee of District 8; Secretary of District 3; Standing Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee.

Speaking on receiving his new assignment, Mr. Nguyen Ho Hai said he was very honored and excited when the Politburo decided to transfer and appoint him to the position of Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee.

The new Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee affirmed: “For me personally, this is a great honor, and at the same time a greater responsibility before the Politburo, the Central Party Secretariat, the government and people of Ca Mau province. In my new position, I promise to do my best and set an exemplary example so that together with the collective and the Standing Committee, we can continue to promote the tradition of solidarity and collective intelligence to successfully carry out the assigned tasks.”

Previously, on January 17, Mr. Nguyen Tien Hai - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Ca Mau Provincial Party Committee - was assigned by the Politburo to hold the position of Secretary of the Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
