On July 22, on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27,47 - July 27, 2025), Party Central Committee member, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh and the working delegation visited and presented gifts to people with meritorious services and relatives of martyrs in Lam Dong province.
The delegation visited and presented gifts to Mr. Nguyen Xuan Khanh (Xuan Huong ward - Da Lat). The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly visited and wished good health to revolutionary veteran Nguyen Xuan Khanh and expressed his deep gratitude to him and the heroes and martyrs who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
Receiving the gift from the central working delegation, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Khanh was happy and sent his thanks to the Party and State for their always concern and sharing.
Mr. Nguyen Xuan Khanh said that this year he will be 101 years old, 82 years old in the Party. His health is still good, living happily with his children and grandchildren.
Every day, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Khanh follows domestic and foreign news, grasps current, political and social information, especially about the policy of arranging administrative units, believing that the country will strongly transform into the new era.
Also on this occasion, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh and the working delegation also visited, presented gifts, and expressed gratitude to war invalid Dao Ngoc Tiem, war invalid Nguyen The Gia and the family of Mr. Nguyen Huu Gian, relatives of the martyrs.

Lam Dong province has more than 21,000 martyrs, more than 11,000 war invalids, more than 5,300 sick soldiers; 2,460 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers (currently 17 mothers are still alive); more than 4,500 revolutionary veterans, pre-upgrade cadres; more than 40,500 resistance fighters.
