On October 18, Kien Giang Provincial Party Secretary Do Thanh Binh attended and presented decisions on personnel work at Ha Tien City Party Committee.
At the conference, the Organizing Committee of Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee announced Decision No. 1635-QD/TU of the Standing Committee of Kien Giang Provincial Party Committee on the transfer and appointment of Mr. Nguyen Luu Trung - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Kien Giang Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term - to join the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and hold the position of Secretary of Ha Tien City Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
Speaking at the conference, Kien Giang Provincial Party Secretary Do Thanh Binh congratulated the new Ha Tien City Party Secretary Nguyen Luu Trung on being entrusted with a new task by the Provincial Party Standing Committee. Mr. Nguyen Luu Trung has been assigned to many positions and is always enthusiastic and responsible in completing the assigned tasks well.

Mr. Nguyen Luu Trung used to hold the following positions: Vice Chairman of Ha Tien Town People's Committee (now Ha Tien City), Head of Economic - Budget of the Provincial People's Council, Director of the Department of Finance. In December 2020, Mr. Trung was elected Vice Chairman of Kien Giang Provincial People's Committee.
