Accordingly, after listening to Mr. Vu Dai Thang - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee and leaders of the Provincial Military Command report on the developments of the incident of tourist boats facing risks in Ha Long Bay, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha shared the painful losses of the victims' families.
The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized that if rescue is carried out tonight, it is necessary to calculate the plan, and the safety of the search team must also be given top priority. At the same time, it is best to try to do it tonight, not to let things become more complicated tomorrow. In particular, when carrying out rescue, the forces must ensure means and technical conditions such as lighting, lights, equipment for boats, etc. to ensure absolute safety for the rescue forces.
In addition, the authorities coordinated smoothly, trying their best to deploy search and rescue work tonight. The ultimate goal is to try to search as quickly as possible in the hope of saving more survivors and searching for all the victims' bodies.
The Deputy Prime Minister noted that inland, Quang Ninh province needs to soon prepare a place to welcome the victims' families to receive their bodies; conduct activities to mobilize, visit, and care for the victims' families.
