Quang Ninh Provincial Military Command hands over personnel decisions for the July 2025 period
On July 17, the Party Committee and Military Command of Quang Ninh province held a conference to deploy the personnel decision for the July 2025 period.
At the conference, the Party Committee and the Quang Ninh Provincial Military Command presented 60 decisions of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense on personnel work, including 26 retired officers (1 officer on leave under Decree 177/2024/ND-CP, 25 officers on leave under Decree 178/2024/ND-CP); 14 officers were promoted from Lieutenant Colonel to Colonel; 18 officers were promoted from Lieutenant Colonel to Lieutenant Colonel; 2 officers received the decision to increase their salary.
Awarding the decision to raise salaries and promote the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in 2025
On July 16, the Standing Committee of the Da Nang City Border Guard Party Committee organized the announcement and awarding of the decision to raise salaries and promote the rank of Senior Colonel of professional soldiers in 2025 to officers in the force.
In this period, 5 officers were promoted from Lieutenant Colonel to Lieutenant Colonel; 4 other officers were upgraded with seniority allowances beyond the framework and regular allowances.
The Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Tay Ninh Military Command presented the decision to promote military ranks and raise salaries
On the afternoon of July 16, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Military Command of Tay Ninh province organized the awarding of decisions on promotion of military ranks, salary increase and retirement for cadres according to Decree 178 of the Government.
Authorized by the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Military Region 7 Command, the Standing Committee of the Party Committee of the Military Command of Tay Ninh province presented the decision to promote military ranks, raise salaries and retire according to Decree 178 of the Government.
This time, according to the decisions of the Minister of National Defense to promote the rank of Lieutenant Colonel to Colonel and increase the salary of Lieutenant Colonel for the first time for 13 officers; promote the rank of Lieutenant Colonel to Lieutenant Colonel for 4 officers; at the same time, award retirement decisions to 25 officers.
President presents decision to promote the ranks of General and Senior Lieutenant General
On July 14, President Luong Cuong presided over the ceremony to hand over decisions to promote the rank of General and Senior Lieutenant General to senior officers of the People's Army and the People's Public Security.
Accordingly, the military rank of Senior Lieutenant General was promoted to General General for Mr. Trinh Van Quyet - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Director of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army.
Promoted from Lieutenant General to Senior Lieutenant General for members of the Party Central Committee are Deputy Ministers of National Defense: Nguyen Hong Thai, Nguyen Van Hien, Nguyen Truong Thang. Along with that, the rank of Lieutenant General was promoted to Senior Lieutenant General for Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army Nguyen Quang Ngoc.
