On October 14, under the chairmanship of Lieutenant General Tran Vo Dung, Party Secretary, Political Commissar of the Military Region, the Military Region 4 Command held a conference to hand over the responsibilities and tasks of commanding the Logistics and Technical Department of the Military Region; deploy and assign tasks to officers and soldiers of the Logistics and Technical Department of the Military Region to carry out the merger and reorganization according to the decision of the Ministry of National Defence and the General Department of the Vietnam People's Army.
The conference listened to representatives of the Logistics Department and the Technical Department approve the minutes of the comprehensive handover of all aspects of work of the Logistics Department and the Technical Department to the Logistics - Technical Department of the Military Region; and the opinions of delegates from relevant agencies, departments and offices.
Speaking at the Conference, Lieutenant General Tran Vo Dung, Party Secretary and Political Commissar of the Military Region acknowledged and highly appreciated the spirit, responsibility and efforts of the staff of the agencies and units under the Logistics Department and the Technical Department.
Notably, in the recent past, the Party Committee, the commanders of the Logistics Department, the Technical Department and the affiliated agencies and units have thoroughly grasped the resolutions, directives and instructions of all levels and done a good job of preparing for the merger and reorganization; focusing on participating in building a tight and systematic organizational structure, suitable to the characteristics and tasks of the logistics and technical work of the Military Region.
Along with that, we have paid attention to doing a good job of ideological work, building determination for the team of officers, professional soldiers, workers and defense officials, ready to receive and complete well all assigned tasks.
In the coming time, the Political Commissar of the Military Region requested that the Logistics and Technical Department continue to do well in political and ideological education, clearly identify determination, overcome difficulties, focus on building a clean and strong Party organization, associated with building a comprehensively strong agency and unit, "exemplary and typical" to excellently complete all assigned tasks.
Along with that, quickly stabilize the organization and staff, build and promulgate regulations and rules on each aspect of work; well handle the work of military rear policies; build high solidarity and unity within the Party Committee and commanders; unite the army and people, well handle relationships in work to create a combined strength, and excellently complete all tasks.
