On May 12, the People's Committee of Quang Nam province said that after conducting a survey on housing needs for officials planning to work in Da Nang city, Quang Nam province will continue to implement the next step: reviewing the learning needs of children of officials, civil servants, and public employees subject to transfer after the merger of administrative units.
In order to ensure stable conditions for the families of cadres, civil servants and public employees during the process of arranging and assigning work, the Department of Education and Training (DET) of Quang Nam province has sent a document to departments, branches, sectors, and provincial-level agencies, requesting urgent statistics on the learning needs of children of cadres expected to work in Da Nang city.

Previously, the Department of Education and Training of Da Nang City had written a proposal to coordinate to review to proactively plan to receive students at educational institutions from preschool to high school in the city. On that basis, Quang Nam requires the units to report the number of children wishing to transfer to Da Nang, to the provincial Department of Education and Training before May 14, 2025.
In case the couple works at two different agencies but both plan to transfer to Da Nang, they will agree to report their study needs at the same unit to avoid overlapping data.
This review is part of the province's overall plan to ensure social security and create stable conditions for cadres after the merger - from accommodation to children's education - contributing to building a streamlined and efficient apparatus while still putting people at the center.
