On the afternoon of June 9, at the National Assembly House, Politburo member and National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man - Chairman of the Committee for the draft amendments and supplements to a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution chaired the third meeting of the Committee.
The synthesis shows that there have been 280,226,909 comments from agencies, organizations and individuals on all contents and provisions in the draft Resolution.
In particular, the average approval rate is 99.75%, which is the clearest proof of the correct policies of the Party and the National Assembly in amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution and demonstrating high consensus and unity between "the Party's heart and the people's heart".
At the meeting, Chairman of the Law and Justice Committee Hoang Thanh Tung presented a report proposing the content of the explanation and acceptance of opinions from the people, sectors, levels and National Assembly deputies on the draft Resolution amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution.
On that basis, the delegates discussed and approved the draft report on explanation, acceptance and the draft Resolution amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution to submit to the National Assembly for discussion and second comments in the second session of the 9th Session.

Concluding the session, National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man said that the opinions expressed at the session were very lively, frank and practical, thereby clarifying many more contents, as a basis for accepting and perfecting the draft Resolution amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution.
The National Assembly Chairman emphasized that amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution is a step to concretize and institutionalize the Resolutions of the 13th National Congress of the Party and are being implemented very seriously, methodically and responsibly.
The National Assembly Chairman suggested that after the session, the Standing Committee of the National Assembly's Law and Justice Committee urgently complete the draft Report on explanation, acceptance and draft Resolution amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution; advise and assist the National Assembly Party Committee to report to competent authorities on the acceptance and revision of the draft Resolution.
On that basis, complete the draft Resolution dossier to submit to the National Assembly for approval as soon as possible, striving to have it on June 16, 2025, to meet the urgent progress of the implementation of the policy of streamlining the apparatus of the political system and implementing the 2-level local government model.
