On the afternoon of June 2, at the Presidential Palace, Politburo member and President Luong Cuong chaired a working session with the Office of the President on the work in May 2025 and key tasks for June 2025. Also attending was Central Party Committee member, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan.
After listening to the report and the opinions expressed, President Luong Cuong acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts of the Office of the President in carrying out the work in the past time.
According to the Vietnam News Agency, in recent months, large workload, wide range, requiring coordination of many industries, many levels and agencies in the political system, the President emphasized: The President's Office has been proactive, focusing on leading, directing and successfully organizing the 6th Session of the National Defense and Security Council for the term 2021-2026, contributing to the presidents and powers; Coordinate to advise and serve activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South, reunify the country and a number of other key tasks in the spirit of urgency, responsibility, and timely ensuring the country's political requirements and tasks.
Regarding the direction of work in June and in the coming time, the President asked the Office to continue highly concentrated, effectively implementing comprehensive tasks on domestic and foreign affairs. The Office of the President reviewed and actively developed a plan to coordinate, conduct preliminary reviews of key tasks in the first 6 months of the year and develop a specific implementation plan for the last 6 months of the year.
The Office needs to proactively coordinate closely with relevant agencies and localities to advise and serve the President in implementing Decision No. 284-QD/TW of the Politburo on assigning Politburo members and Party Central Committee Secretaries to direct the implementation of the Resolution of the 11th Central Conference, 13th tenure, ensuring quality, progress and timely reporting to the Politburo.
The President requested to closely follow the guidance of the Party Committee of the Central Party agencies, the Party Committee Party Committee of the President should seriously review and complete all preparation work in accordance with the requirements and successfully organize the Party Congress of the Party President of the 9th President, term 2025 - 2030; After the Congress, urgently consolidating and organizing and assigning tasks in the Standing Committee, the Party Committee and the Party Inspection Committee, submitted to the competent authority to prepare for the results of the Congress.
In addition, the President asked the Office of the President to coordinate carefully the preparation of documents and contents to serve the Vice President as the Head of the Organizing Committee of the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress; Proactively propose to the State leaders of key issues that need to be solved in the fields of internal, external, defense, security, Party building, socio -economic development; pay attention to people's lives, promote the strength of great unity of the whole nation in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
